GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW ASKS TO BE LIVE 8 TEA GIRL

GWYNETH PALTROW is so desperate to be a part of the LIVE 8 extravaganza in London, she has offered to serve refreshments to performers backstage.

The actress will be at the charity concert with COLDPLAY rocker husband CHRIS MARTIN, but she wants a role of her own.

A source says, "Gwyneth told BOB GELDOF she really wanted to do anything she could to help because she thinks the whole idea is so amazing.

"She was so nervous talking to him because Bob's one of her all-time heroes. She didn't want him to think she was being pushy or a rock star wife - which is why she asked to be a tea girl."
