GWYNETH PALTROW - PALTROW AND MARTIN MARRY?

Celebrity couple GWYNETH PALTROW and CHRIS MARTIN have got married in a secret ten minute ceremony, according to a British newspaper.

The OSCAR winning actress and the COLDPLAY singer - who discovered they are expecting their first baby together last week (ends05DEC03) reportedly exchanged vows on Friday (05DEC03) at a Santa Barbara, California, registry office shortly after obtaining a marriage licence, according to THE SUN.

A friend of Martins' is quoted as saying, "They kept it very quiet indeed. They wanted to do it without fuss and without anyone around, and they managed it."

The pair then retired to their bungalow at a Santa Barbara hotel where they were delivered a wedding "breakfast" was lunch for two.

A source at the hotel said the booking was a "last minute thing", and their room had been filled with Paltrow's favourite flowers at Martin's request.

The happy couple then jetted off to Mexico for a quick break on Saturday (06DEC03), and were spotted sunbathing in Cabo San Lucas on Sunday (07DEC03).

They are expected to return to Santa Barbara later in the week (ends12DEC03) to have their union blessed - this time with family and friends present.
