JACK PALANCE - PALANCE SHOWS OFF HIS STRENGTH WITH PUSH-UPS

Movie veteran JACK PALANCE showed he's still a force to be reckoned with by hitting the deck and doing a set of push-ups at an awards show on Saturday (20MAR04).

The fit 84-year-old CITY SLICKERS star, who famously performed an impromptu set of one-handed push-ups at the 1991 OSCARS, dropped to the ground again at the FESTIVAL OF THE WEST in Arizona.

Palance was being honoured at the festival with the COWBOY SPIRIT AWARD.

He also showed off his softer side at the Scottsdale event by signing copies of his new book of poetry, THE FOREST OF LOVE.
