AL PACINO owes his entire movie career to his role in THE GODFATHER - he would have spent his life as a theatre actor otherwise.
Despite being widely regarded the greatest living actor, Pacino still maintains he was "lucky" to land the role of MICHAEL CORLEONE in the 1972 movie.
He says, "I'd probably be working in some repertory company and have about 20 children.
"I would imagine my life would not be what it is now.
"I was lucky to get The Godfather.
"As they say, how lucky can you get?"
