O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? star TIM BLAKE NELSON has ordered P DIDDY to get the blues for the rapper's new movie role.
The actor/director is convinced the mogul, real name SEAN COMBS, has got what it takes to play legendary blues man ROBERT JOHNSON in new movie LOVE IN VAIN - but the rapper will have to master Johnson's gruff tones.
Blake Nelson says, "My main precondition for Sean, if he was going to do this part, was that he sing the role.
"I wanted him to sing every song instead of just lip-syncing."
Combs, who won acclaim for his small roles in MONSTER'S BALL and MADE, will start shooting the biopic in Memphis, Tennessee, in September (03).
