OZZY OSBOURNE - OZZY TOPS POLL TO GREET ALIENS

Rock legend OZZY OSBOURNE has been named the nation's favourite ambassador to welcome aliens to planet earth.

In the YAHOO! internet poll, the reality TV star beat British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR and popular English presenters ANTHONY McPARTLIN and DECLAN DONNELLY as the face people deem best equipped to introduce alien beings.

The survey was sparked by the discovery of signs of water on Mars.

British glamour model JORDAN came level with American President GEORGE W BUSH - both receiving nine per cent of the votes.

Osbourne, who is recovering from a near fatal fall from his quad bike, won 26 per cent of the vote.
