OZZY OSBOURNE - OZZY 'SHOCKED' BY DIMEBAG'S DEATH

Rocker OZZY OSBOURNE is devastated by the death of guitarist 'DIMEBAG' DARRELL ABBOTT at a concert on Wednesday (08DEC04).

Abbott was shot at point blank range on stage at a nightclub in Columbus, Ohio, while performing with DAMAGEPLAN, the band he and brother VINNIE PAUL formed after PANTERA split last year (03).

Former BLACK SABBATH frontman Osbourne, who often toured with the 38-year-old, says: "I'm absolutely beside myself with grief.

"I can't for the life of me understand why someone would do this."
