Late GONE WITH THE WIND star HATTIE McDANIEL is to be honoured with her own US postage stamp.
The Oscar winner's nephew EDGAR GOFF and grandniece KIM GOFF-CREWS will join Hollywood Mayor JOHNNY GRANT when the commemorative stamp is unveiled at the Fairbanks Center For Motion Picture Study tomorrow (25JAN06).
McDaniel became the first African-American to ever win an Academy Award when she was honoured for her supporting role of MAMMY in Gone With The Wind. She died in 1952.
