KELLY OSBOURNE is planning to move to New York in the future in a bid to assert her independence.

The CHANGES star is currently living in Vancouver, Canada, while she stars in TV show LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, but she's eager to move to a new environment as part of her personal growth.

The 20-year-old says of New York, "There's a sense of independence there. It's halfway between LA and England, so you get a mixture of both types of people."
