LORD OF THE RINGS hunk ORLANDO BLOOM is so out of touch with today's music stars he doesn't even know who singing superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES is.

A nervous Bloom stated, "I've gotta tell you now, I'm not big on popular culture," before proceeding to miss the name of every star's face he was flashed - achieving partial success when he identified rapper 50 CENT as '25 Cents'.

But Bloom managed to save face slightly by identifying at least one star - pop hunk JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.
