OPRAH WINFREY - OPRAH SELLS OFF BELOVED RETREAT

Talk show host OPRAH WINFREY has sold off her beloved Indiana property, which has served as one of her favourite weekend retreats for the past 16 years.

The 50-year-old billionaire will sell the 164 acre (66 hectare) estate - which includes a five bedroom main residence, a guest house, a pool house, a caretaker's house, a log cabin, stables and an orchard - to an unnamed Chicago, Illinois, entrepreneur for an undisclosed price.

Originally listed for $8.5 million (GBP4.4 million), the price was dropped to $6.9 million (GBP3.6 million) and the property has reportedly been on the market for about a year.
