ASHLEY OLSEN - OLSEN TWINS' NYU DETERMINATION

Twin actresses MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN were extremely nervous while waiting to hear if they'd been accepted into NEW YORK UNIVERSITY - because they'd applied nowhere else.

The pretty siblings, 17, leave their California home to head off to the prestigious institution later this year (04), and Mary-Kate admits she's relieved the waiting is over.

She tells TEEN PEOPLE, "I was nervous because it was the only place I wanted to go, and I didn't have any backup schools.

"Our dad will miss us - his little girls are going away! I think it'll really hit him when we start travelling back and forth and fixing up our place.

"But right now, I'm seriously worrying about studying!"
