ASHLEY OLSEN - OLSEN TWINS TO LAUNCH FANSITE

Superstar twins MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN have found a new way to protect their privacy and give fans the truth about their lives - they're setting up a new online fan club.

The teen icons, who are currently studying at university in New York, will launch Mary-Kate and Ashley's Official Online Fan Club later this year (04) in a bid to keep fans informed of their lives, and steer them away from rumours they may read in the press.

According to the siblings, members of the club will have access to information, photos and other benefits not available to the general public.

Mary-Kate says, "The fan club is another way to reach out to those who like what we do."

The girls plan to waive membership fees for charity groups.
