ASHLEY OLSEN - OLSEN TWINS MAKE PLANS FOR MORE MATURE MOVIES

Twin actresses MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN are planning to move away from their hit children's films to star in more edgy projects.

The 17-year-old beauties, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today (29APR04), have an army of young devoted fans who snap up their wholesome videos and kiddie merchandise.

But they think they're now ready to enter the adult world fairly soon.

Ashley says, "I would love to do something like SCARLETT JOHANSSON's part in LOST IN TRANSLATION.

"I also like KIRSTEN DUNST's role in ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. It was a very small role to play. And CHARLIZE THERON in MONSTER was amazing."

But the twins are assuring fans they'll never get raunchy - they're staying away from nudity and revealing spreads in men's magazines.
