OASIS' performance at the GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL was so poor, rock fans have voted them the worst band of the festival season.
The band were slammed after previewing new material during their set at the seminal June (04) event - even Glastonbury organiser MICHAEL EAVIS said he was "a bit disappointed" with their gig.
And a staggering 42 per cent of 10,000 festival goers polled by music magazine NME (NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS) agreed with the critics.
Glam rockers THE DARKNESS came second with 26 per cent, followed by THE STROKES at 17 per cent and THE LIBERTINES at 15 per cent.
Despite The Libertines' poor performance, frontman CARL BARAT was voted Hero Of The Summer for keeping the band's festival commitments without former frontman PETE DOHERTY - who was forced to leave the group after failing to kick his drug addictions in rehab.
