Oasis Sign New Drummer
OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER has recruited one of his proteges to replace the band's axed drummer ALAN WHITE.
According to reports, TERRY KIRKBRIDE, from PROUD MARY - the first group Noel signed to his SOUR MASH label - will take the place of White, who was sacked from the WONDERWALL group earlier this month (JAN04).
A source says, "He's worked with the best - PAUL WELLER, RICHARD ASHCROFT, STEREOPHONICS."
But a spokesperson for Oasis insists Kirkbride is not a permanent replacement - he's just helping them finish their new album, "There are no plans to replace Alan at the moment."
