Seasoned British rockers OASIS are keen to collaborate with new band KASABIAN after toying with the idea while drunk one night on tour.
The bands, who are currently performing in America together, discussed the partnership during a backstage booze session, but Oasis frontman NOEL GALLAGHER hopes the plan will materialise.
He tells MTV, "A lot of things are said in dressing rooms at 4 o'clock in the morning when you're drunk.
"They are more than welcome in my studio though, and there's a chance I might be doing some songs. I hope it does (happen) - it will be great."
Kasabian are also planning a return to the studio on their return and guitarist SERGE PIZZORNO is confident the group won't be short of material.
He says, "It's nice to just sit in a studio and start crafting and working things out.
"We are so full of ideas - 'difficult second album' hasn't even entered our heads."
