GRAHAM NORTON - NORTON STUNNED BY MICHAEL SNUB

Irish talk show host GRAHAM NORTON is desperate to lure pop hunk GEORGE MICHAEL onto his popular British show - but the FAITH hitmaker has turned him down flat.

Norton - who has just signed a big money deal to take his show Stateside - tried every method to persuade George to appear, even offering him the chance to have an entire episode solely devoted to him.

Graham told staff, "I'd do anything to get him on. I've always fancied him and I think he'd make a great guest."

However, the former WHAM! star was less than enthused.

He reportedly told a source, "I am not a fan of Graham Norton. He reminds me of (camp comedy character) MR HUMPHRIES from the sitcom ARE YOU BEING SERVED? That is not a move forward for me."
