NOLL FOUND GUILTY OF DRINK DRIVING

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

Australian singer SHANNON NOLL has been fined $765 (GBP400) and banned from driving for nine months after being found guilty of drink driving.

The MTV AWARD-winner, who was a runner-up in the 2003 debut series of AUSTRALIAN IDOL, had a blood alcohol reading of 0.110 - over twice the legal limit - when he was pulled over by police in Condobolin, New South Wales, in December (04).

Noll's lawyer PETER MARTIN told Condobolin Local Court earlier today (05APR05) his famous client had shown "genuine remorse" and was "prepared to accept the disqualification".

Noll will be able to drive again from 18 September (05).
