NELLY - NELLY RUNNING SCARED IN FOOTBALL FILM

Rapper NELLY is running scared on the set of his new American football film THE LONGEST YARD because retired OAKLAND RAIDERS tough guy BILL ROMANOWSKI (corr) keeps threatening to beat him up.

Nelly, a football star in high school, is playing a jailed athlete in the remake of the BURT REYNOLDS' cult 1974 film, and he admits some of the real grid-iron stars in the film are taking action scenes a little too seriously.

Nelly says, "It started when the (football) season started. Before then everything was fine and then something snapped.

"I've had ROMO wandering around telling me what he's going to do to me on the field."
