SOPHIA MYLES - MYLES' WIG CATCHES FIRE

British actress SOPHIA MYLES feared for her life on the set of her latest film when her costume wig caught fire. The THUNDERBIRDS star was on the set of her new medieval movie TRISTAN AND ISOLDE, when fellow cast members and crew started screaming at her. She recalls, "I was talking to the director, KEVIN REYNOLDS, at the end of the day. I sat down and suddenly heard people shouting what I thought was my name... 'Sophia! Sophia!' Then I realised they were saying, 'It's a fire! It's a fire!' "I leaned back and my long hair (I had a three-quarter length wig) caught fire on a candle on the table behind me. The whole thing just went up in flames and my life literally flashed before me. "But there was no time to dwell on it, we had to get on with the next shot."
