MYA - MYA TO DESIGN FASHION LINE

R+B star MYA is launching her own fashion line, and hopes to debut the collection in 2008.

The LADY MARMALADE singer has spent the past week (begs6FEB06) studiously attending catwalk shows at New York City's Fashion Week, to inspire her creativity.

She says, "I've been sketching since I was 14. I designed my own prom dress."

However, Mya insists she is under no pressure and won't be producing her line until "maybe 2008".

She explains, "There's no need to rush fashion."
