Movie hunk LUKE MABLY studied PRINCE WILLIAM to prepare for his new film role as the PRINCE OF DENMARK.

The actor plays the European royal who falls for an American student in new film THE PRINCE + ME, and he admits he based much of his character on the hunky British prince.

He says, "I found out a lot about his life and learned etiquette rules, like how to eat properly. I had to learn about proper silverware."
