British actress SAMANTHA MORTON is putting her acting career on hold to concentrate on finishing her first screenplay.
The twice OSCAR-nominated beauty is drawing on her childhood experiences living in care for her pet project TWOC.
The MINORITY REPORT star says, "I made three films last year so I'm taking a break to finish my script, TWOC, which stands for TAKEN WITHOUT OWNER'S CONSENT.
"It's about children in care, a subject close to my heart."
