EVANESCENCE - MOODY WON'T RETURN TO EVANESCENCE

EVANESCENCE singer AMY LEE's scuppered any hopes guitarist BEN MOODY has of rejoining the band - insisting his sudden departure was "for the best".

The BRING ME TO LIFE rockers were shocked when Moody walked out on their tour last month (OCT03), but Amy - who was reportedly dating the musician - claims everyone is happier now he's gone.

Amy says, "I actually haven't had any contact with Ben at all. But I hear he's way happier, and I know we all are, so it's for the best.

"It was just kind of an unhealthy situation for everybody. Everyone was really unhappy. I think it was just time to evolve."
