THE MONKEES tune DAYDREAM BELIEVER has been unveiled as Britain's favourite karaoke tune, according to a new survey.

The singalong hit is the number one choice across the country, with FRANK SINATRA classic MY WAY bagging second place in the poll by British pub chain the HUNGRY HORSE.

Women's anthem I WILL SURVIVE, by GLORIA GAYNOR, landed in third, with Sinatra song NEW YORK, NEW YORK, and ROBBIE WILLIAMS ballad ANGELS following in fourth and fifth respectively.

Danish pop outfit AQUA didn't fare so well in the survey - their 1997 chart-topper BARBIE GIRL topped a poll listing karaoke fans' least favourite songs to sing.
