Sixties charttoppers THE MONKEES will never reunite, because they dislike each other too much, according to former bandmember DAVY JONES.
The British singer insists tension that existed within the band has continued since they split, and he struggles to get on with his former pals, particularly MICKEY DOLENZ and PETE TORK.
Jones, 58, says, "If we'd met under other circumstances, we'd like each other.
"It will be our 40th anniversary in 18 months' time.
"You can never say never, but I feel that way right now.
"I'll never work with Mickey, I'll never work with Pete again, because I don't need to.
"They're rude and unaccommodating to fans.
"They don't have the same style as I have."
