California model BEVERLY PEELE was arrested for identity theft in Los Angeles last week (26DEC06).
The six foot (1.82 metres) beauty, 30, stands accused of allegedly spending $10,000 (GBP55,500) on housewares, appliances and furniture with another person's credit card details.
Peele, who starred in GEORGE MICHAEL's TOO FUNKY music video in 1992, has been charged with two counts of grand theft by access card, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Peele, who was dubbed 'Baby NAOMI' CAMPBELL by the fashion industry, is set to return to court this week (ends06JAN06).
