Pop minx KYLIE MINOGUE shocked regulars at a unfashionable London local pub by popping in for a quick drink at the weekend (24/25MAY03).

The Australian singer caused a stir by visiting the SHAKESPEARE'S HEAD in Islington after watching a friend perform in a ballet nearby.

Unfortunately for the SPINNING AROUND chanteuse, her appearance caused so much interest she had to leave after ten minutes as fans flocked to see her.

One drinker says, "I almost dropped my pint when she walked in. She was good as gold and happy to speak to everyone but had to leave or she would have been mobbed."
