HEATHER MILLS MCCARTNEY's father knew his daughter's marriage to SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY wouldn't last - because they are both too stubborn. MARK MILLS, 64, who has not seen Heather for three years following a falling out, believes the former model and ex-BEATLE valued their individual independence too much to make their high-profile union work. He says, "I told them ages ago they would not last. I predicted four years and look what has happened. "The problem is that Heather and Paul are both obstinate people and both of them need their independence. I think they may have clashed too much. "I love Heather very much and I'm sad for her because I know she loves Paul a lot."
