JONNY LEE MILLER - MILLER AND CARLYLE UP FOR PORNO

JONNY LEE MILLER and ROBERT CARLYLE are eager to reprise their TRAINSPOTTING roles in sequel PORNO - despite EWAN McGREGOR's reluctance.

The project, based on IRVINE WELSH's follow-up novel which features the same characters as the cult 1996 film, is currently in the early stages - but lead star McGregor has expressed reservations about agreeing to appear, as he doesn't want to taint the original's popularity.

However, Miller insists he and Carlyle are eager to do it, dependent on a suitable script.

He says, "It's early days. I believe the book has been optioned and I believe they are working on a script - so it wouldn't be the time to talk to the actors yet.

"I've only spoken to Bobby and he's definitely up for it."
