Veteran rocker MICHAEL STIPE is constantly mistaken for JOHN MALKOVICH, despite being much shorter than the DANGEROUS LIAISONS actor.
The REM singer finds public reaction amusing rather than annoying, but is often confused when people begin to praise his acting skills.
Michael laughs, "Apart from the fact that he's much taller, we really do look alike.
"But it's bizarre when people start explaining how much they enjoy my way of acting."
