QUEEN - MERCURY'S ROLLS-ROYCE UP FOR SALE

FREDDIE MERCURY's vintage Rolls-Royce has been put up for sale on internet auction site eBay - 14 years after the QUEEN frontman died.

The WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS star's sister KASH decided to sell the luxurious Silver Shadow because it is has been gathering dust in recent years.

Mercury's car has attracted a host of bids since going on sale last Friday (07OCT05) - and potential buyers will have to beat the current top bid of GBP26,300 ($47,340).

The 1974 model comes complete with an unopened packet of tissues belonging to Mercury, a leather interior, wood trim and a car phone.

The Rolls-Royce was last seen in public in 2002 when Mercury's family travelled to the premiere of the London West End Queen musical WE WILL ROCK YOU.
