GRAMMY AWARDS - MEAT LOAF TO EMBARK ON FINAL WORLD TOUR

GRAMMY-winning rocker MEAT LOAF is about to embark on his last ever world tour - so he can concentrate on his acting career.

The BAT OUT OF HELL singer's final world tour will last 15 months, with the American portion scheduled to begin on 22 June (03) in Saratoga, California, and end 29 September (03) in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Then he'll travel to Europe, Australia and Asia before returning to Europe and the United States.

His spokesman, DAN FORMAN at SUSAN BLOND INCORPORATED says, "He wants to tour and then devote himself to acting. He has the acting bug - he's been doing that for a while and he's appeared in some great films."

Meat Loaf's movies include THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, FIGHT CLUB and FORMULA 51.
