EWAN McGREGOR has suffered a second blow after recent sci-fi flop THE ISLAND - his latest film STAY has disappointed audiences.
Stay, which focuses on an Ivy League professor trying to prevent one of his students from committing suicide, cost $50million (GBP27.8million) to make, but took just $3.35million (GBP1.8million) in the 10 days following it's release.
It also received a barrage of scathing reviews.
US magazine LA Weekly dismissed the film as: "A steaming compost heap of high art pretence and half-cocked psychoanalysis."
