BRIAN MCFADDEN - MCFADDEN 'TO FIGHT KATONA FOR CHILDREN'S CUSTODY'

Pop hunk BRIAN McFADDEN is considering fighting estranged wife KERRY KATONA for custody of their two children, pals claim.

The ex-WESTLIFE hunk ended his three-year marriage to Katona in September (04) but vowed he would never put his daughters MOLLY, three, and LILY-SUE, one, through a custody battle.

But McFadden's parents BRENDAN and MAIREAD have allegedly advised the REAL TO ME singer to seek custody of the two girls, who are currently living with former ATOMIC KITTEN star, Katona in Cheshire, England.

A friend of McFadden's says, "Although the family are sympathetic towards Kerry, they have decided Brian comes first.

"Blood is thicker than water and the things that are important to the family are Brian, Molly and Lily-Sue.

"They felt that Brian and Kerry becoming parents so young was a bit rushed. They think the girls would be better with them."
