SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY - MCCARTNEYS FIGHT FOR SEAL PUPS

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY and his wife HEATHER MILLS MCCARTNEY yesterday (02MAR06) issued a heartrending appeal to the Canadian Government to ban seal hunting once and for all. Flanked by frolicking seal pups in the ice floes of the Gulf of St Lawrence, the animal rights activists begged the media to bring attention to cruel practice. The former BEATLE said, "We are out here on the ice floe trying to call upon the Canadian people, Prime Minister STEPHEN HARPER and his Government to consider putting an end once and for all to the seal culls. Mills-MCCartney added, "Imagine having a child and having your baby killed in front of you for the sake of fashion."
