HEATHER MILLS - MCCARTNEY MISTAKEN FOR LENNON

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's wife HEATHER MILLS reportedly exploded in rage at a passer-by in New York last week (ends07JAN05), after he mistook her husband for his late BEATLES bandmate JOHN LENNON.

The pair were strolling on Manhattan's East 57th Street when accosted by the teenage boy, according to PAGESIX.COM.

The boy yelled, "John Lennon! John Lennon," according to an onlooker, who adds, "Heather took it badly. She snapped back, 'No, you fool, he's dead,' before they walked away."
