COLDPLAY - MARTIN'S BALDING RECORDING

COLDPLAY rocker CHRIS MARTIN fears he'll be completely bald if the recording of his band's third album fails to end soon - because the stressful process is making his hair fall out.

The YELLOW singer - husband of Hollywood actress GWYNETH PALTROW - is measuring the album's progress by his ever-receding hairline, and he's desperate to finish the LP to give his remaining locks a chance of staying attached to his head.

Martin blames the pressure of repeating the success of their first two albums PARACHUTES and A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD on his affliction.

He says, "We're under an immense amount of intense pressure in the studio. We're working all the time because it's so important.

"We can't f**k it up. I'm the last person to ask about our new record because of the perspective I have.

"But we're one receded inch of hair from finishing. When my hair's gone back another inch I know we'll have finished the album."
