CHRIS MARTIN - MARTIN: 'FATHERHOOD MAKES ME MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT CHARITY'

Fatherhood has spurred campaigning rocker CHRIS MARTIN to do even more work for charity.

The COLDPLAY frontman has always been passionate about causes like fair trade and the third world debt - but has become even more committed about making the world a better place since his actress wife GWYNETH PALTROW gave birth to baby daughter APPLE in May last year (04).

He explains, "Being a new father has made me look at the world differently.

"I'm a father who travels a lot and has seen how rich nations like ours exploit poorer ones through crazy trade laws and huge debts.

"I want the world to be a better place when my daughter has grown up.

"I don't want my daughter having an adulthood like something out of MAD MAX."
