COLDPLAY - MARTIN PUTS CLEANER TRAINING TO GOOD USE

COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN keeps his house exceptionally clean and tidy - thanks to a stint spent working as a cleaner.

The CLOCKS singer, who is married to Hollywood actress GWYNETH PALTROW, once earned a living cleaning up after other people - for which he made just $190 (GBP100) per week.

However, Martin has now come to realise his past life as a menial worker has its advantages.

He says, "But now in my house I know what I'm doing when I try to wipe a surface.

"Not many pop stars can say that. You do it in figures of eight."
