RICKY MARTIN - MARTIN PLANS TO ADOPT

RICKY MARTIN has praised the efforts of the Indian Government to stop child trafficking, and hinted he plans to adopt a child of his own one day.

The Puerto-Rican born sponsors four young girls in the Asian country and backs campaigns to fight the illegal trafficking of children around the globe.

He says, "Because of trafficking, the adoption of children to foreigners is not legal in India. They control adoption because of the fear of child trafficking, which I think is brilliant of the Indian government.

"But why not? Maybe some day I will adopt a child."
