COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN fears his fans will start to hate his band - because their music is played everywhere.

The IN MY PLACE singer attempts to ignore the obvious ubiquity of his work, as the possibility of overkill is one he refuses to contemplate.

He says, "I don't think about it.

"If anyone says, 'Oh, your music is so ubiquitous,' I always regard that as a heavy criticism, and try to end the conversation."

And the 28-year-old star is ominous when quizzed as to whether he is concerned listeners will become fatigued by constantly hearing his hits wherever they go.

He says, "Absolutely. Not just fatigue; hatred."
