COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN has hit back at cynics who have criticised his political campaigning for MAKE TRADE FAIR - insisting everybody should be involved in politics.
The 28-year-old IN MY PLACE rocker is proud he's used his megastar status to make a difference to the plight of poverty-stricken Third World countries.
And he has defended his actions as well as those of fellow stars and charity ambassadors BONO and SIR BOB GELDOF, because he's adamant music and politics go hand in hand.
He relayed this fuming message to dissenters: "I would say, first of all, don't be such a stupid c**t, because to say politics and music don't mix is to say that politics and gardening don't mix, or politics and plumbing.
"Politics concerns everybody."
