COLDPLAY - MARTIN BEGS SPIELBERG FOR MOVIE ROLE

COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN has begged director pal STEVEN SPIELBERG for a role in one of his films.

The YELLOW singer is currently staying at the OSCAR winner's Los Angeles mansion, and he admits he's constantly bothering his host with requests for parts in his forthcoming movies.

He says, "I asked him about INDIANA JONES 4, but perhaps he'll let me be an android in WAR OF THE WORLDS."

Spielberg is godfather to Martin's wife GWYNETH PALTROW and gave the SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star away at their 2003 wedding.
