CHRIS MARTIN - MARTIN AND PALTROW'S CONVENIENCE MOVE

New celebrity parents CHRIS MARTIN and GWYNETH PALTROW are moving house, so they can be nearer their alternative health gurus in north London.

The couple, who became parents when Paltrow gave birth to baby daughter APPLE in May (04), have purchased a new $4.5 million (GBP2.5 million) mansion in the city's trendy Belsize Park - just minutes away from their acupuncturist, ayurvedic medical adviser and their ashtanga yoga teacher.

Friends say they were tired of getting stuck in traffic travelling from their current pad in Belgravia, west London to regular meetings with the gurus.

They are also planning to radically renovate the new house - giving it a $900,000 (GBP500,000) facelift - before they make the move in September (04).

It has already been gutted and the pair have planning permission for high security walls and a 'ring of steel' security system.

Paltrow and Martin bought the house from A-list pals KATE WINSLET and SAM MENDES - and their neighbours include HELENA BONHAM CARTER and TIM BURTON.
