American lifestyle guru MARTHA STEWART has managed to dream up a business idea amid all of her legal woes - she plans to write a book about her experiences in the criminal justice system.

The 63-year-old business woman was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice by a New York jury earlier this year (04), and on Friday (16JUL04) she was sentenced to five months in prison and another five under house arrest.

And while she has made millions of dollars through selling house wares, hosting a home-making TV show and through her magazine, Stewart now hopes her recent legal troubles will provide her with a new book.

She says, "It could be helpful to other people, just about what lawyer to choose, how to behave, how to attend an interview. There's no how-to book about this, there isn't - not that it's going to be a big bestseller."
