ANDRZEJ ZULAWSKI - MARCEAU EX BITTER OVER SPLIT

Polish director ANDRZEJ ZULAWSKI is still bitter over his split with long-time love SOPHIE MARCEAU three years ago (01).

The movie maker and the French beauty were together for 17 years and have a son VINCENT together.

However, after their shock split in late 2001, the WORLD IN NOT ENOUGH star moved in with American producer JIM LEMLEY, immediately becoming pregnant with their daughter JULIETTE, now 18 months old.

When promoting his new book INFIDELITY, Zulawski spat, "The word actress makes me sick."

After reporters asked him if Marceau had read his tome, he replied, "Why do you ask that? She's a French actress who seems condemned to be in mediocre films, so why not ask me about someone else?"
