SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist DARON MALAKIAN is obsessed with horror movies - because they provide important social commentary.
The MESMERISE rocker has been catching up with his collection of chillers while touring, and admits the "huge social statements" within films such as DAWN OF THE DEAD have got him thinking.
He says, "Lately I've been watching a lot of horror movies. It helps to pass the time on the tour bus.
"Dawn Of The Dead is my favourite at the moment - GEORGE ROMERO is a f**king brilliant director.
"He makes huge social statements with his movies, even though they're not seen as serious."
