FRASIER star JOHN MAHONEY insists acting in England is the ultimate challenge, because British audiences are harder to please than their American counterparts.
The British-born actor, who played MARTIN CRANE in the hit US comedy, is preparing to impress London's theatre scene when he stars in DAVID MAMET play ROMANCE at the Almeida Theatre.
He says, "England is like your parents. You just want to please them.
"It's like the old New York song, 'If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere,' and that's the way I feel theatre-wise about England."
